How does the process work?
Quote
- You can receive a quote online or over the phone at 877.538.3518 (local
949.369.0541).
Order
- Place an order by filling out the Customer Order Form. Please
read the Terms and Conditions before signing the bottom of the Customer
Order Form. You can fax it to 949.315.3645 or e-mail it at orders@LevelOneTransport.com.
- The transport of your vehicle will be scheduled according to
the dates of your shipping order. We appreciate 7 to
10 days notice prior to moving date.
Pick up
- Once a carrier is assigned, you will receive a call from the
driver or the carrier company to schedule the pickup time and date. You
will also receive an e-mail with the carrier information from Level One
Transport.
- When the driver picks up the car, he will complete an inspection
of your vehicle. This condition report is called the Bill of Lading
or Freight Bill. Both the driver and the person releasing the vehicle
will sign the report and each party will receive a copy. This same report
will be presented on delivery for re-inspection upon release of vehicle.
- There will be no charge prior to carrier assignment. The
deposit of $125.00 will be charged at the time the carrier is assigned
(unless you choose to charge the entire amount of the service). If
we have assigned a carrier for you and you decide you no longer require
our services there will be a $100.00 service charge. (see Contract Terms
and Conditions for more information)
Delivery
- The car will be on one truck with the same driver. The travel time
depends on the distance of the route. The driver will call 12 to 24 hours
in advance to schedule an approximate time for delivery.
- The car will be inspected again at time of release and both the
driver and the person accepting the vehicle will sign the report and each
party will receive a copy. It’s very unlikely that your car
will be damaged, however if damage should occur, please make sure to note
it on the Bill of Lading.
